Jessica Murtagh: What will remain

Perhaps the Ancient Athenians did it best, using the humble ceramic amphora to record the stories of their time. From scenes of heroism and godly deeds to tableaux’s of everyday moments, the Athenians created forms that provide a glimpse into their lives centuries later. In this exhibition Jessica Murtagh draws inspiration from these ancient artefacts, creating luminous glass forms that tell the stories of our own everyday lives, loves and mundane moments in time.

What will remain is proudly presented as part of the South Australian Living Artists Festival.
